How can I go to Reading Festival for free?
Fans can secure free tickets to Reading Festival in return for volunteering with Hotbox Events. Volunteers will be required to complete three eight hour shifts over the weekend of the event, and in return will be given a full weekend wristband absolutely free!
Can I resell my Reading Festival tickets?

Do you get a wristband for Reading Festival?
Tickets must be exchanged for a wristband on first entry at a wristband exchange. No re-admission on tickets. Wristbands are strictly non-transferable and will be invalid if removed, tampered with, transferred or resold. Wristbands must be worn at all times for the duration of the Event.

When can you get into Reading with a weekend ticket?

How do you shower at Reading Festival?
Are there showers or phone chargers? Yes and yes! There are free showers on site, so you don’t have to wet wipe yourself for the whole weekend if you don’t have to. These will be clearly marked on our festival map, which will be released nearer the time.
What time do you have to leave Reading Festival?
Our peak exit times are between 8:00am and 1:00pm on Bank Holiday Monday, 31st August. Please plan ahead and organise leaving arrangements before you arrive at the festival.
Can you leave Reading Festival and come back?
24. Day Ticket holders may only enter the festival via the Green Day Gate and continue through Green into to the arena. 25. There is no readmission on a Day Ticket so once day ticket holders have exchanged their ticket for a wristband, they cannot leave the site and re-enter.
Can my ticket be scanned on my phone?
You can either print out the tickets on paper or simply display the ticket on a phone, portable tablet, or computer screen. Log into the barcode ticket scanner app on your Android device and select your test event. Select “Scan” then point your camera towards the barcode.
