What is the eligibility for engineering?
Should be passed with 45% in 10+2 from a recognized institute or college. And with that, you should have 50% marks (40% in case of candidates of SC/ST category) in Mathematics + Physics + Chemistry/Biology. Grades of entrance exams like – IITJEE, AIEEE, BITSAT, etc.
Is there age limit for BTech?
TECH. All Candidates seeking admission to B. Tech Degree shall have not completed 21 Years of age as on first of July of 2017. For candidates belonging to SC / ST the age limit is relaxable by three years.

There is no age limit. He/She must have passed their class 12 exam in 2021 or 2022. Three consecutive attempts are allowed for JEE Main 2022 examination. Students should have secured a minimum JEE Main 2022 qualifying score.

There is no age for learning. The only thing is to note the eligibility for lateral entry, that is to say, you need a 50% pass percentage in diploma for admission in lateral entry BTech.

Yes just go for it. Age is just a number, and there is no bar for learning (atleast no age bar). If you are trying to do Btech by giving entrance examinations , then I would like to suggest that better go for some foreign universities.
Can I do engineering at the age of 40?
Age does not matter at all. I know this for a fact because I just earned my engineering degree and I’m pushing 40. In fact, I’m even considering about going back to college and earn my Master’s Degree despite being in my mid-40’s when I finally do earn my degree.
