Are Iroshizuku inks worth it?
Pilot Iroshizuku Yama-Budo is one of the more popular Pilot colors, and for good reason. It has an amazing dry time, is very vibrant, and all-around performs very well. It’s expensive, but worth it to many fountain pen fans.

Is pilot Iroshizuku ink wet or dry?
Pilot Iroshizuku Tsutsuji is a saturated pink with some gold sheen. It’s a wonderfully wet ink, flowing out of the fine nib quite readily. It seems to be a true pink in color, though depending on the wetness of the writing and paper used, slight shading between a lighter and darker pink can be seen.

Which Iroshizuku inks are being discontinued?
In October 2021 we found out that Pilot was discontinuing three inks from their Iroshizuku lineup, Tsuyu-kusa, Tsukushi, and Ina-ho. In November the same year they announced three new inks that will essentially replace the discontinued inks. These new inks are Sui-gyoku, Hana-ikada, and Hotaru-bi.
Are Iroshizuku inks waterproof?
The Iroshizuku Kon-Peki ink is not waterproof. When we ran a wet cotton swab over ink samples after letting them dry for over 3 minutes, a distinct bleeding, feathering, and color smear was experienced until the cotton swab used up its wetness.

Is Diamine ink wet or dry?

Diamine Autumn Oak is definitely a wet shading ink. In our review of this ink, it is noted that this ink will give you good shading no matter what nib size you are using. Although the dry time tends to be longer, you will never have to worry about Diamine Autumn Oak not flowing from your pen.

Is Iroshizuku water based?
