Are all NiMH Chargers the same?
Any brand of NiMH rechargeable battery can be used in any battery charger suitable for NiMH batteries – as long as the size is compatible. However we do recommend you use reputable, well-known brands as there are some batteries and chargers of questionable quality on the market.
Do NiMH batteries need a special charger?
Any NiMH charger will charge both regular NiMH batteries and LSD NiMH’s. NiZn batteries require a special charger. NiMH and NiCd chargers will not work. First off, a NiMH/NiCd charger charges at around 1.3-1.6V, while a NiZn charger uses around 1.9V.
