While it’s doubtful you missed Lady Gaga’s killer performance at the Super Bowl, it wasn’t until afterwards we found out the stage tricks she managed to deliver such as jumping off the roof of the arena. But you know what wasn’t a trick? How insanely beautiful Lady Gaga’s voice is, even while carrying a 20 minute mash-up of her hits, in front of millions of people all while while dancing her little heart out.
While Lady Gaga has been controversial at times for her extreme theatrics, she fiercely persisted and became one of America’s leading artists, and not just on the radio or in an arena. She’s been busy also leading her acting career with her appearance on American Horror Story. Lady Gaga actually accepted the award for Best Actress for her role in a Limited Series or TV Movie for American Horror Story: Hotel at the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards in January! She’s truly made America proud.
The powerful triple threat spoke with NFL Network saying:
“This is one of the highest honors of my career. I get a chance to sing for all the athletes who have been working so hard their whole life for this moment.”
“I’ve always wanted to sing the National Anthem at a major sporting event since I was a little girl,” Gaga continued to tell the NFL’s Nate Burleson.
"This is one of the highest honors of my career."
