Gwen Stefani is a force of pop and the history of pop. No Doubt was a major hit band that had albums which were idolized by millions. She’s always been a major dominate character on stage when she performs, but when it comes to The Voice, she may be surprisingly more shy than you’d expect.
Aside from being a frontrunner in the music industry for years, she’s also sold more than 30 million albums worldwide and is the recipient of three GRAMMYs. Why wouldn’t this rock star and pop princess be more aggressive when it comes to the reality competition show?
“I’m not a super competitive person,” she spilled to TODAY. “Like, I don’t do sports… You know what I mean? But, I’m getting there with this show. I am, I’m learning how to do it.”
She says she’s amazed at the talent that she encounters as a coach on the show and describes what it’s like working with boyfriend Blake Shelton.
